Easter Egg Hunt (9/4/11)

On Saturday 9th April Shapwick Squirrels Pre-School held their annual Easter Egg Hunt at Shapwick Village Hall. There was an 'eggcellent' turnout to support the event, as children came to hunt for chocolate eggs kindly donated by Vintage Wheels and Wheeler & Son Ltd, and visit the additional attractions which included face-painting, lucky dip, raffle, and a range of other stalls. Hot food and cold drinks were also served on the day, with Griffiths Butchers and bakers Greggs and Shepherds providing the wholesome fayre.

Shapwick Squirrels would like to thank everyone who supported the event and who came and - most importantly - spent their money!

We would also like to thank everyone who helped set-up/clean-up/run the event - you're too numerous to mention here, but you know who you are!

Finally, we would like to thank all of those who helped us with the generous donations we received, and without which the event would not have been the success it was, as we raised approximately £700!

Look out for our next family fund-raiser in July.
